Just got DLSS 5 to work with RE Requiem.
It's uncanny, it's like an AI filter on top of the game. Unfortunately I don't see a lot of the customization and creative freedom NVIDIA kept talking about. Sure there are a few sliders controlling the intensity of certain effects but I was hoping for much more.
Leon ends up looking pretty good and accurate to the original, while Grace looks like a model. I'm a big fan of the much needed shading DLSS adds. Sometimes turning flat looking lighting (even with path tracing) into a much more rich looking scene. This is especially visible on character models when their backs are facing the camera.
I still have no idea why DLSS shifted from increasing performance to enhacing quality. Now it decreases performance lol. Anyways, here are some screenshots with all DLSS 5 settings maxed out.
Currently experiencing an animation bug that makes me unable to make any kind of complicated cinematic cutscenes involving the player's character

Could upvote this one too while we're at it. There's all kinds of graphical glitches on my map that are not my fault and are awaiting to be fixed by epic

Genuine question for other UEFN Creators
If someone copies your island's branding/thumbnail style, Epic rejects the Unoriginal Promotional Asset report, and Epic also declines a DMCA claim, what options are left?
I'm not talking about someone making a similar map. I mean using the same logo styling, text effects, branding presentation, etc.
Has anyone successfully dealt with this before, or is there nothing I can do?
Another thing I'm seeing more and more lately is people straight up taking your thumbnail, putting it through AI, and then using it as their own.
Not inspired by it. Not similar. Literally derived from the original image.
What are the laws on this? I'm almost certain a DMCA for this would get rejected as well.
