🗳️I vote, and take my son, because my great-grandfather, a freed slave, registered to vote in 1867 in Burke County, Georgia when black men were initially granted the privilege. My maternal grandmother died before she was granted the right. #Election2024 #Vote #Georgia

My city, Augusta, Georgia, is devastated due Hurricane Helene!! This is horrible! Many of us, like my family, are trapped by downed trees. Can Governor @BrianKempGA come to Augusta? Can the Presidential candidates come here? WE NEED HELP!!! #AugustaGeorgia

Tipping my hat to @Beyonce for her Cowboy Carter album. Great job on my all time fave @DollyParton song “Jolene.” I’m enjoying this album and her perfection in the pivot to another music genre. #Beyonce #CowboyCarter
