🚨 EMERGENCY PRAYER REQUEST for MATTHEW DONOVAN: Matthew, a college quarterback, is fighting for his life after suffering a devastating brain injury during a football game on Saturday. Matthew required more than two hours of emergency surgery to remove portions of his skull and relieve dangerous pressure on his brain. Mayville State Comet Athletics says Matthew suffered the head injury during the third quarter against Simpson University and was Life Flighted to Fargo, ND. He is in a medically induced coma in intensive care. But Sunday morning brought the kind of small victory his family desperately needed. Matthew’s eyes reacted normally to light.
