Axios reports today it reviewed a text in which Ric Grenell allegedly offered a Turkish billionaire access to Trump, VIP events and administration officials in exchange for influence. Meanwhile, $17.6 million was wired from the Congolese Ministry of Finance to Texas defense company TX-AT. Habba’s attorneys say the transaction involved software, but the contract’s purpose and its connection to the alleged $5.6 million Kennedy Center donation still remain unclear. Grenell continues to deny wrongdoing.

The purpose of the transaction remains unclear. So does the money’s ultimate destination. Trump says the White House is investigating. Really? Who sent the money? What was the business deal? Where did the $17.6 million go? And was any of it ever intended for the Kennedy Center? Why is the DRC sending money to the Kennedy center through a 3rd party? There’s a “laundry” list of questions about where this money is.
