Remember when NVidia had to give a partial refund to every 970 owner for using 0.5GB of slightly slower VRAM in the card's started 4GB? I think that's important to remember right now.
Nvidia intentionally crippled their $1,000 graphics cards so average consumers couldn’t use its full computing power. Why? Because they sell the exact same chip to big tech companies for $7,000+.
Modders have now cracked Nvidia's software paywall, proving we were sold intentionally downgraded hardware just to protect their corporate profits. This is some bullshit. Also means people bought bigger more expensive cards than they needed to.
