Let Sleeping Giants Lie
A subtle but none the less stunning sunset from Redcar beach
Some people may say they are a blott on the landscape, but we as photographers just need to work with what we got in front of us

Such a shame that the entries appear to have dried up, was a nice fun little comp you had going there
Went out to capture some stark B&W images, but the sun god flatly refused to take a back seat

Apologies for the late award tweet, but this weeks winner of #PubCastFridays is this beauty from @lcymalt. Nice one Tim
Lean back, kick off your shoes and just breathe

A nice walk around Cod Beck Reservoir, North Yorkshire on Wednesday evening
Not a breath of wind, in fact the only ripples were from the geese paddling

Congratulations to Tim Clay for winning this weeks vote for #PubCastFridays. Lovely light under a moody sky
Many people understandably concentrate on the pier at Saltburn, but I decided to turn my back on it for the moment and capture the Splendour of Huntcliffe dwarfing The Ship public house

If at first you don't succeed ..
Took me over 5yrs of regular visits
These old ship timbers are visible only for little over an hour either side of low tide
So not only did sunset had to coincide, it also had to fall into a slot where I actually had the time to visit
