Hub creators have now recorded over 2,000,000 clips of everyday human tasks. At home: folding laundry, weeding a garden, taking care of animals. On the job: mechanics, agriculture, construction, and many more. This side is scaling fast, and will soon cover any kind of work a human can do. Real people, in the wild. First person, across the Americas. This is the physical world getting written down for the first time, and it is the one thing robots cannot learn from the internet. What could you teach a robot that nobody else can?

i built a way to generate full ai vlogs for youtube using seedance 2.5, without ever picking up a camera this was supposed to stay internal but f*ck it, i'm leaking the whole thing you give it a script or even just a topic and it comes back with a finished vlog, voiceover, b-roll, captions, ready to upload here's how it works: a custom claude skill breaks your script into scenes and writes timestamped storyboard prompts for each one, matched to pacing so nothing feels random. those prompts get fed into seedance 2.5, using its 30 second continuous generation and reference asset support to keep the visuals consistent across scenes instead of looking like ten unrelated clips stitched together. then it pulls in an ai voiceover that matches the tone of the script, stitches every scene together, and burns in captions automatically you're not filming, not voicing, not editing, not exporting from three different apps the whole thing runs start to finish and outputs a finished 16:9 vlog ready to post, and it costs a fraction of what an editor or camera setup would run you i'm sharing the full breakdown, which includes: the claude skill that handles scene breakdown and storyboard prompts the seedance 2.5 setup that keeps visuals consistent scene to scene the voiceover setup that keeps it from sounding robotic the exact workflow from script to finished vlog RT + reply "PROMPTS" and i'll send it over (must follow so i can dm)

Pleasantly surprised by Seedream 5 Pro, much better cinematic rendering than NB and GPT Image2

Generate the initial image in Midjourney to get a good pose then swap the character with GPT IMAGE 2 You're welcome
The actual race in robotics isn't the hardware 1X raised $100M, Tesla is scaling Optimus, Boston Dynamics has been at it for decades. They all hit the same wall. Real-world training data that doesn't exist at the scale they need. A robot trained on simulation fails in a real environment. It needs to learn from real people. Thousands of hours. Hundreds of countries. That's the race @hubxyz is in.

Testing a new color grade for @hubxyz Clean white paper, electric green accents, sharp digital interface. To balance that, the photography needs the texture of real human life. Not polish. Grit. Testing a split grade: warm ochre highlights, deep teal shadows Here's why it works, not just why it looks nice Outdoor shadows are lit by skylight, not direct sun. Skylight scatters blue, same reason the sky is blue. So shadows run cooler than the light hitting a surface head on. Pushing teal into the shadows isn't a style choice. It's how outdoor light actually splits. Skin tone sits near orange on the color wheel. Teal sits almost dead opposite it. Basic complementary contrast. Skin pops next to teal without touching the saturation slider at all. Shadows carry more of the "is this real" than highlights do. Your eye evolved to read fine contrast at low light, that's how you judge texture at dusk. Keep that micro contrast alive in the shadows and the brain stops flagging the image as a render. Measurable contrast curve Mapped this to an ARRI Alexa LF profile. Cinema sensors roll off highlights, the same way your eye compresses bright light instead of clipping it. Whites fade into midtones instead of blowing out like a phone camera does. Human and Machine Symbiosis

Some inspiration for the latest post I made. This level of craft can't be yet replicated by AI models. Looking forward to the next NB versions
🇦🇷 It's a Tuesday night in Buenos Aires Third floor. A woman folds laundry. Her hands move the way yours do, without thinking. Smoothing the towel flat. Finding the corners. She isn't filming her face. She's filming her hands. Two floors down, someone fills the sink until it steams. One plate at a time. Down the hall, a bed gets made. On a sill above, a watering can tips and the soil goes dark. Your body knows every one of these motions. A machine knows none of them. That's why the lights are on. Every movement so worn-in you forgot you learned it. Robots can't do it. Can't find it online. Nobody ever thought to record it. Hub does. $4/hour. For a lot of people behind this glass, that's more than a day's wage. Paid for things they'd be doing anyway. São Paulo. Bogotá. Buenos Aires. One building of unremarkable evenings. In the cities the industry keeps forgetting to look at. The other side of AI isn't a lab. It's the life behind the windows. The door downstairs is open. Someone's already walking in.

Hub (@hubxyz) provides real-world training data to frontier AI labs and robotics. Human labor is half of global GDP. Almost none of it has ever been recorded. Hub opens access to it through a global network of contributors capturing hard-to-access data. Congrats on the launch, @xarmin and @tim404x! ycombinator.com/launches/Qoe…

Tuesday, June 2nd: @ycombinator demo day in 2 weeks. Woke up in São Paulo. Sourcing egocentric data collection for one of the biggest labs in the world. Boots on the ground, scaling to 1M+ hours across LATAM & the US. You have to live the motto. "Make something people want" Wherever it brings you.

🌎 The next economy runs on real-world human data Every street. Every voice. Every daily life. Most people living in it are unaware they’re sitting on something the world hasn’t yet priced. We're hiring a network of Field Recruiters who want to change that in their city. Part of that is your network. Most of it is everyone else. South and North America only If this resonates, apply ⬇️ xitter.cf/i/jobs/205957066910120…
