🚨RICARDO QUARESMA ON CRISTIANO RONALDO & JORGE JESUS: 🎙️Reporter: “Ricardo, what do you think about Ronaldo and the Portugal situation?” 🗣️Quaresma: “Cristiano is my brother and one of the greatest players ever, but I will always tell the truth. He is not bigger than Portugal.” “Portugal gave Cristiano the platform to become a legend, but the shirt comes before every player. Nobody is bigger than the national team.” “If he is tired of playing for Portugal, then retire. Nobody is forcing him to stay.” “You cannot demand that the manager treats you differently because of your name. If the coach thinks you should sit on the bench, you sit on the bench.” “Cristiano has done everything for Portugal, and we should respect that. But respect goes both ways.” “If you love Portugal, you accept difficult moments. You don’t walk away because things aren’t going your way.” 🎙️Reporter: “So you think Ronaldo should retire?” 🗣️Quaresma: “If he no longer wants to fight for the shirt, yes. Portugal will continue with or without Cristiano Ronaldo.”
