The Strokes were unreal in Manchester.
Best I’ve heard them since the early 2000’s.
I can’t think of another indie band in my lifetime, who’ve not ruined the band trying to write songs for stadiums—as they got bigger.
Few bands can do what The Strokes have done.
It’s true that most men couldn’t stand Russell Brand. I couldn’t stand him and nor could most my mates. Women loved him and would outnumber men in his audiences. Why do you think that is girls?
Far too many people dying & I ain’t buying it’s because we’re getting older.
Some of our families have had death after death since 2020.
That’s no coincidence.
Hope there’s no shit show where you are now mate.
I hope you’re well out of it.
And remember…
“I never did owt!”

It would help if I’d added the video where Jimmy Carr dealt with questions and hecklers!🙈🙈
He’s at his best imo when doing this.

Horrific beyond belief
Everyone talks about Liam at his peak, well this is Noel at his peak.
Only took him about 15 years to get there—and it was short lived.

Noel Gallagher stripped “Don’t Go Away” back to its emotional core for this acoustic performance. Written during the Be Here Now sessions, the song was partly inspired by fears surrounding his mother Peggy’s cancer scare and became one of the album’s most vulnerable moments. Although never released as a UK single, it became a fan favourite. Performing it acoustically in Chicago in 1998, Noel gave the song an especially intimate feel.

If it hadn't been for the ordinary citizens recording these reactions in these jab centers we would never have known what was actually happening.
