The first step to save NHS dentistry is admitting we have a problem.

There’s recognition that failed contracts & underfunding have fuelled the current crisis.
There’s now a chance to move forward to rescue & reform a service millions depend on.

Today NHS dentistry turns 76.
Still facing the greatest crisis in its history.
A new government has a responsibility to rescue and reform a service that millions depend on.
This will require urgency and ambition.
We stand ready to start this process next week.

Fixing a failed contract is the litmus test for any party serious about saving NHS dentistry.
We have no sense if @Conservatives are offering change, or more tweaks at the margins.
Reheating the contents of a lacklustre Recovery Plan will not give this service a future.
