At 7:30 PM Central Time, Dallas County has recorded 75,834 votes, which is 232.6% of its 2022 first-day total and 134.6% of its 2024 first-day total.
Dallas has surpassed Presidential-year turnout on the first day of early voting in a midterm year.

Nagueños will go to the polls within 120 days to ratify the conversion of the city into a Highly Urbanized City. Naga will become the 34th HUC in the nation.
In the 2025 NLE, Naga had 120K voters, with 80% turnout: 74% youth, 82% working & seniors.

Tribute to Former Speaker pro Tempore Raul Daza
First elected to the House in 1969, a Liberal gaining this Northern Samar seat (a rematch since the 1967 special election), during the Nacionalista landslide year.
Daza was among the opposition legislators who filed a case to the SC questioning the constitutionality of Martial Law. Exiled in the US, he continued the Anti-Marcos campaign with Aquino, Manglapus, and Salonga. After Aquino's assassination, he returned to the country and was arrested but was granted bail after pressure from US Senators.
Post-People Power, he served as Deputy Minister of the PCGG to go after the ill-gotten wealth of the Marcos family, and as Governor of the province. He was President of the Liberal Party during the FVR era, also the time when he was the No. 2 in the House. @HouseofRepsPH. For the Waray-Warays.🇵🇭
