Voters rejected the politics of cruelty this season. GOP said Texas Dem might be a perv. The Muslim guy must be al-Qaeda. Or the candidate who was raped by her step-father might be lying.
This stuff is unethical, and if u dont care about ethics, we also now know it doesn't work.

Today, I sent a letter putting New Jersey’s port and terminal operators on notice: importing Russian diesel violates federal law and could carry serious civil and criminal consequences.
New Jersey will not stand by while Donald Trump supports Vladimir Putin at the expense of Americans. Instead of lowering costs, these imports help finance Putin’s war against Ukraine and a campaign of violence and terror that endangers our servicemembers abroad.
As a Navy veteran, I cannot let that stand unchallenged. Our ports must not be complicit.

Q: Do you love Ken Paxton?
@JamesTalarico: Yes. Ken Paxton is a child of God. He is my brother in Christ. But love requires accountability. Think about when your friend grabs their car keys to drive home under the influence. Your job as their friend is to take the keys away. That feels aggressive. But it is done out of love for that person and for all of your neighbors. He's shown that he only cares about himself. He got indicted because he was screwing over his own friends, reported to the FBI by his own staff, impeached by his own party. If I was to sit down with Ken Paxton, I would grab the keys.

I'd like to remind Trump administration that after Iran war started, Ukraine deployed experts and technology to the Middle East to help Gulf states defend themselves against Iranian drones and protect US bases in the region, while Russia provided targeting information to Iran.

William Hague declares Trump the worst president of his lifetime, and struggles to see how anyone could have a different opinion.

We are seeing what happens when we don’t: an emboldened Putin probing NATO’s defenses as he seeks to broaden his war.
Trump’s enabling of Russia’s aggression is costing Ukrainian lives, endangering our Allies, and threatening our national security. It’s a grave mistake. (3/3)

This is happening as Putin tries to take the power out for millions of men, women, and children as Ukraine heads into winter.
Appeasing a dictator never works.
We need to stand strong against aggression and stand with our partners and allies. (2/3)

A year and a half ago Trump stopped helping Ukraine defend itself, and put pressure on Zelenskyy to make a deal with Russia.
Now, Trump is actively supporting Putin: waiving sanctions, disrupting StarShield, and making a diesel deal. (1/3)

“we will pay any price….to assure the success and survival of liberty.” Is this still true? Do we prize liberty or do we prize power and purse? No more clear test than the choice between Ukraine and Russia. Abandon Ukraine and we abandon liberty. Eventually even our own.

Ukraine’s freedom is not President Trump’s to bargain away.
He is wrong to ease sanctions on Russian diesel, wrong to blame President Zelensky for prolonging Putin’s war, and wrong to undermine a nation fighting for its right to exist. Russia is the aggressor. Always has been. Reward Russia, and we should expect to see more aggression, including from other countries. We can also kiss goodbye to any just and lasting peace.
This is why Conservatives have stood with Ukraine against Putin. Ukraine’s future belongs to Ukrainians. They alone have the right to choose their president, and we stand with President Zelensky because he fights not for himself, but for the survival of his country and his people.

It is sickening that the USA is now lifting sanctions on Russian fuel, and transparently ridiculous to blame Ukraine for the spike in prices that obviously began with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Putin is murdering innocent Ukrainian civilians every day. The Ukrainians are fighting for their lives. And yet the White House is apparently determined to force American drivers to bankroll Putin’s slaughter. It won’t work and I doubt it will make much difference to the price of fuel.
If we want Russian oil and gas back on the world market then let’s end this war - with a free, sovereign and independent Ukraine.

Glory to Ukraine. Slava Ukraini.
Thank you for your visit to Finland, President of Ukraine Volodymyr @ZelenskyyUa and First Lady Olena Zelenska.
Finland and Ukraine have a lot in common: We are members of the European family and we share the experience of defending our independence. These experiences have shaped us into brave and tenacious people.
Today, Ukraine has the most powerful armed forces in Europe. We have a lot to learn from the experience of Ukraine.
