MY VISIT TO THE MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA Today, I honoured the invitation of the newly inaugurated President of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Dr. Eric Okoye, and other former Presidents of the Association to attend his inauguration ceremony at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos. On the sidelines of the event, I interacted with the new President and members of MAN and reiterated the enormous potential of Nigeria’s manufacturing sector. With the right government policies, an enabling business environment, and stronger collaboration between the public and private sectors, Nigeria can significantly increase the contribution of manufacturing to our GDP. Manufacturing currently contributes about 7.5% of Nigeria’s GDP, compared with about 14% in Egypt, 15% in Morocco, 25% in Vietnam, 19% in Indonesia, and 20% in Bangladesh We must therefore deliberately move from a consumption-driven economy to a productive economy, one that produces, creates jobs, adds value and competes successfully in the global market. A stronger manufacturing sector will expand employment opportunities, strengthen our productive capacity, reduce our dependence on imports, increase exports, and improve the standard of living of our people. I congratulate the new President and his team and wish them a successful and productive tenure. I look forward to continued engagement with the manufacturing sector as we work towards building a more productive and prosperous Nigeria. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

I am calling out some incompetent female Nurses working at FMC ABEOKUTA!!!! To those female nurses working at FMC ABEOKUTA, if you're tired of your work, kindly quit the job and allow those ready to work to come in.. I can't see the reason why a patient will approach you for directions and guidance on how to meet doctors or get treatment, instead of you to calmly answer the person, you will frown face and bark at the person like a dog to go sit down.. That display is now normal among most of you and its too bad.. Did anyone force you to come work??? How can tou ignore a patient, force the person to sit down all because you're chatting with your colleague.. Then after wasting alot of time, you will come and ask the patient what they want. Now you sent us to where we were told that we came late, whereas we came very early in the morning only to get delayed by you... This is just unacceptable!!! We came from a far distance and now we have to come back again just to book an appointment.. I don't blame you all, we wouldn't be at your hospital if there was no sickness.... God bless the doctors and nurses working at the State hospital ABEOKUTA, they're the best....

Today, I was surrounded by cancer survivors, and the encounter was deeply moving. Their presence reminded me what is at stake in cancer care. Behind every statistic is a Nigerian whose survival should never depend on wealth or the ability to travel abroad. Cancer care should not be a privilege reserved for those who can afford it. Nigeria needs at least five fully equipped, specialised cancer centres in each of its six geopolitical zones, alongside stronger prevention, screening, early detection, research and affordable treatment. The goal is simple: no Nigerian should die because care is too far away, diagnosis came too late, or treatment is unaffordable. The survivors reminded me that behind every policy are human lives and the hope of a longer life. Healthcare is not a luxury. Survival should not depend on geography or income. Cancer care should not be a privilege. It should be a right. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

If I ever become President, before I introduce any policy - I have a long list of death penalties to become law first. Sexual assault on children = death Murder = death Embezzlement=death Kidnapping=death Terrorism=death Incest=death False rape accusers & rapists = death.

Unfortunate greetings to you Second hand, My opinion doesn't bother you but you quoted and replied at the same time? I read patiently, waiting for the educative chunk but it's all watery dispels of pig snorts. I'm not even surprised. Bold of you to think that you can educate me. From your policies, your professional executions, the shallowness that sweetens you, the galore of pretense work you emulsify in, for optics - your cerebral strength is evident. At 54, you might be 2 decades and some change older than I am but on my worst days especially when I'm asleep - 10 kilobytes of my brain power will power 250 GB of that clanging cymbal you've carefully weaved under your clown cap. You want to educate who? Now let me educate you, second hand. Whoever you were or what you had before public service is INSIGNIFICANT. In public service, servants are expected to live within reasonable means & avoid unnecessary show of wealth. How reasonable is it that you wrist 212M naira in watches, serving in a state where the minimum wage is 70K naira? In fact, it is enshrined under the Code Of Conduct Bureau under the Fifth Schedule of the 1999 constitution as amended - how public servants should curtail show of wealth in public service. I'm not even a lawyer. A simple conversation of how display of wealth is antithetical to the ethical scope of public service, you casually threw in "demi god". Again, by a man's speakings, he reveals the standards upon which his principles are wired. You are a slave so you're wired to think other people's opinion on your show of foolishness is directly proportional to subservience of a different person entirely. At the core of it all boiling down to what really matters - impact? My boy, second hand, You were definitely one of the most visible commissioners but essentially the most useless. You were busy but you were not productive because at the core, what mattered to you the most was winning social media bouts. Your visibility was tied to the fact that, at the crux, you and Daniel Regha aren't desimilar. You are both banger boys.

Nigeria at 66: Looking Back, Looking Forward Fellow Nigerians, Today we mark the sixty-sixth anniversary of our independence. It ought to be a day of celebration and thanksgiving to God Almighty for the gift of life and for the immense blessings He has bestowed on our nation—our diversity, our abundant human and natural resources, our vast agricultural potential, and the relative absence of devastating natural disasters. It should also be a day of appreciation and patriotism: a day to remember our founding fathers and all those who made selfless, and in many cases supreme, sacrifices for the birth, survival and growth of our dear nation. We must acknowledge the efforts of past and present leaders who have laboured, however imperfectly, to build a better Nigeria. Yet independence anniversaries must never be reduced to mere celebration. They are moments for honest national reflection. We must look back, examine where we stand today, and ask ourselves whether we are moving in the direction our founding fathers envisioned. In national planning and strategy, every serious nation must continually ask three fundamental questions: Where are we today? Where do we want to be? How do we get from where we are to where we want to be? These questions are especially urgent now. Despite the enormous promises made by the APC-led government in 2023, our nation continues to face deepening challenges across virtually every critical sector of national life. Today we stand before the world as a nation: With an extraordinarily large population living in poverty and severe hardship; over 140M With one of the largest populations of out-of-school children in the world; over 18M Where insecurity, terrorism, banditry and kidnapping continue to threaten lives and livelihoods, just recently 37 young Nigerians in their productive age lost their lives Where millions of Nigerians struggle with hunger and food insecurity; over 40M Nigerians will be in extreme hunger by the end of 2026. With unacceptably high rates of infant and maternal mortality; Nigeria today is the worst place to be born. Where youth unemployment and underemployment remain alarmingly high; over 35M Where drug abuse and substance misuse increasingly threaten our young population; today 14% as against global average of 6% Where life expectancy remains among the lowest globally, today 54 years against global average of 74 years And the list goes on. This reality demands serious, sober and honest reflection. Socrates taught that “the unexamined life is not worth living.” By the same principle, an unexamined nation cannot successfully chart its future. We must therefore ask ourselves: Are we cursed, or have we become the curse through the choices we have made and the failures we have tolerated? The answer cannot be that Nigeria is cursed. We are a nation immensely endowed and blessed. Our greatest problem is not a lack of resources; it is the failure to convert our enormous resources into human development, productivity, security and shared prosperity. Only yesterday, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso and I returned from a two-day visit to Sokoto State. We held extensive consultations with people from different parts of the state on insecurity, out-of-school children, poverty, youth unemployment, drug abuse and other challenges confronting our people. In concluding the visit, we went to the Internally Displaced Persons camp at Ramin Kura within Sokoto metropolis. What we saw was deeply troubling. Thousands of women and children live in deplorable conditions, displaced from their homes and deprived of the basic necessities of life. Many of the children have no access to education. Mothers and children have limited access to basic healthcare. These are Nigerians who should be living in their communities, going to school, farming their land, conducting their businesses and contributing to the economy. Instead, they live as displaced persons in their own country.

I have a personal relationship with at least one of them who was part of a group receiving paramilitary training from CIA trainers at a facility in a neighbouring West African country in 1996. They were being trained to launch a full scale national insurgency in Nigeria before the end of 1998, but their sponsor got to Abacha first. Afterwards, he got a green card for services rendered, and has since left the "fighting for democracy" scene. If they didn't assassinate Abacha when they did, they would have made sure that all these idiots would have grown up facing "Nyanya bomb blast" every week from the 90s. And surprise surprise, as soon as their handpicked puppet left office and a nationalist came into power, "UN building explosion" actually became a thing in Nigeria. Kayode Fayemi and Wole Soyinka had direct CIA handlers. They should come out and deny it if what I'm saying is not true, so that all these long overdue conversations that have been suspended for 30 years will finally be had. The budget funding Radio Kudirat came from the same budget that funded Radio Free Asia and Radio Free Europe - USAGM/VOA. The wrong side won in 1998 and we are all fools who have spent 28 years celebrating the death of the man who was keeping us from becoming exactly the externally controlled tub of useless nothing that we are today. The bad guys won and they are literally in power now! The fact that people are STILL fighting with their ego instead of admitting to themselves what is so obvious 3 decades later is proof that one way or another, Nigeria is destined for a mass extinction event, either at the hands of its current American owners or at the hands of whoever will fix the damn place. There are far too many human placeholders eating our food and breathing our air in that country!
There is a very strong possibility that 70% of NADECO people were foreign assets. Tinubu is the clearest proof of that.. and it’s now obvious he was groomed to be Nigeria’s President one day. His alliance with Buhari’s CPC to form APC with America’s David Axelrod their strategist

Because I 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 applied for 𝘋𝘰𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘌𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘢𝘦𝘶𝘴, a complementary European PhD certificate, my work was required to be perused by 4 different Professors from 4 different countries. This needed to happen before I stand in public defense. I eventually heard back.
Life Update. Today, I stood before colleagues, research leaders, mentors and a board to deliver the presentation mandated for admission to my PhD viva. I passed the presentation & have been admitted. 🫡 Almost at the finish line, then the reintroduction will be official. 👨‍🎓

I don’t have anywhere to be today, so I’m going to step out, take a Keke from my house to the bus stop, and pay the fares for everyone on board. I’ll do that five times, going and coming back. I won’t film it. I don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable. That’ll be my little contribution to the independence day celebration. 💚
