I took a 3 month hiatus to heal and I almost quit doing music. Here’s what I wrote when I picked up the pen again…

Being dedicated to watching one piece for so many years has been SO rewarding these past few weeks.

You ever wondered what it would be like if you gave 100% to your dream… well, stop wondering. Talking to myself, too.

I’ve recently learned the importance of letting the right people in on your vision and dreams. Did my first legit release concert last night and it was an absolute success because I let people I love and trust pour time and talent into what I’m doing.

I promise I’m about to drop the hardest project of my entire career. I just listened to it again after giving my ears a rest for 2 weeks. It’s beautiful. You get to hear it next month.

“Slave” was the precursor and a piece of the story I’m going to tell. That song being received so well assures me the rest of the project is gonna be received also. I’m excited dawg.

I also truly feel like this is the first piece of work where you really & truly get 100% of me. I haven’t been able to confidently say that about some of my past work.
