It’s finally live! 🚀 I just launched my new interactive 3D developer portfolio.
I wanted to challenge myself to blend hand-drawn aesthetics with real-time WebGL, custom shaders, and physics-based interactions. Built with @reactjs, @threejs, and @greensock.
New site is live for Framedworks, a real estate photo & film studio in Amsterdam 🏡
First-visit intro, smooth page transitions, and a CMS they actually use.
Built with @astrodotbuild + @sanity_io + @greensock
A small sneak peek from a personal project I’ve started exploring.
This is the opening preloader / hero direction so far.
If I keep pushing it further, what would you want to see next: the forge, the stone, or the lake?
Apparently my portfolio is fun to explore, but not exactly great when you just want to find a link 😭
Fair.
So I built a tiny link hub for my portfolio, Sketchbook and socials.
Obviously I couldn't just make a normal Linktree, so both versions of me now follow your cursor.

Why do we still buy stadium tickets without ever seeing what the view from the seat actually looks like? ☠️
So I prototyped an idea.
A 3D seat view experience for a football stadium built with Fable 5 + @threejs, where you can preview exactly what you'll see from your seat before buying.
The entire 3D experience was working after the first prompt, and the whole prototype came together in just five prompts.
This is the kind of 3D experience I'd love to see more of, tbh. Feels so good.
Right now, buying a ticket gives you almost no sense of what the experience will actually feel like. We're still relying on static seat maps, charts, and boring UI layouts, when interactive 3D experiences could make that decision so much easier.
If you think, 3D development has the potential to create genuinely useful experiences. This feels like the direction we should be heading. 3D is the future.
I can already imagine this for cinemas, cricket stadiums, Wimbledon, concerts, and so many other venues.
I'm planning to take this further. What should I build next? More stadium features, or should I try another venue? Let me know :D

just wrapped my first year of CS (4.9 GPA) so I shipped a new component to celebrate
Messy Stacking Sections scroll and sections stack like tossed paper. random rotation on entrance, straighten on scroll, pin in place.
@greensock ScrollTrigger + @LenisSmooth . 3 files. no frameworks.
I just added a smooth Shrink & Slide page transition to the ITom UI Sketchbook. Built with Barba.js and GSAP.
You can tweak the animation speed and scale live in the browser, then copy the code straight into your project.

most UI component libraries lock you into React or Vue.
I built one that works everywhere.
pure vanilla JS + HTML + CSS + @greensock .
copy the code, paste it into React, Webflow, WordPress, anything.
no npm install. no dependencies. no build step.
just copy, paste, ship. ✂️
the whole thing is wrapped in an interactive 3D sketchbook UI.
yeah I might have gone a bit overboard on the presentation 😅
Thanks to @codrops for the opportunity to write up a case study on my portfolio. If you're curious how it was built, it's live now on their site.
He can't model 3D. That limitation became the entire visual identity of his portfolio.
@ITom_Dev built a fully walkable 3D corridor in Three.js using no 3D models at all. Just flat rectangles wrapped in hand-drawn textures, a custom paint-reveal shader, and four months of fighting with camera systems.

gave myself 1 hour to build a 3D browser game from scratch using only prompts with @GoogleDeepMind's Antigravity 2.0 + Gemini 3.5 Flash High.
the result? an RC car that doesn't touch the ground.
AI couldn't solve floor collision so it just made the car float. ramps are decoration. buttons are unreachable.
the future of #CreativeCoding is levitating 🚗💨
14 awards. One portfolio. Zero 3D models.
Built itomdev.com from flat rectangles and custom shaders because I can't use Blender. Still a student.

A couple days after the festival and I’m still smiling 😂
Never expected that kind of reaction for a body + webcam game.
If you haven’t tried it yet — it’s live:

Tell me your high score 👀
Didn't expect what happened next.
Kids formed queues. Parents got dragged in. Strangers compared scores with each other.
People kept asking "this is just a website??" I built this on a $100 Thinkpad btw.
