(tech ceo voice) they say.... the devil is in the details. well, (laughs) not anymore! we got him out of there. he's loose in the world now =) that's right folks the devil is loose in the world, probably forever
Okay. So I was genuinely expecting Google Antigravity to be horrendous. But it's actually pretty cool.
There's no "prompt engineering" skillset, which I do, but don't prefer. I know it's a black box and cutting-edge field with debate around "best practices" but still.
Without a doubt, having a "developer's environment" for building prompts is very helpful at the stage I'm at. Having a staging -> production pipeline is already helping workflow.
I don't like being locked into Gemini's ecosystem, but I can also see how BYOK is not viable, too.

Blaming yourself for stream scuff is the most narcissistic thing you can do
"I should've prepared better"
"I should've checked my software before going live"
"I could've stopped downloading stuff"
You're NOT the main character
Grow up, be mature, and start blaming your viewers
So there's 2 potential situations here;
1) Sea of Thieves is *that* insecure and a malicious actor did this.
2) Rare *literally* doesn't know what they're doing and their support team has a "ban all" button.
Given the funny numbers, and how cheaters have target-banned players in the past, I am putting my bets on situation 1.
If this isn't a public display on how much of a sponge security is in this game, idk what is. Embarrassing. Fix your shit.
Cool so 1A protects pedophiles now. It's literally legal, now.
This isn't funny, anymore.
A federal appeals court judge ruled that the First Amendment protects an individual’s right to privately possess images or videos of child sexual abuse created using AI — if the material does not depict a real person and remains in the home. wapo.st/4hXljRs
There's a really cool thing called "Transmissible spongiform encephalopathy" or "prion disease." It is when a misfolded protein somehow (because we're not sure) causes other proteins to fold over and damage neurons.
Not sure why I'm saying this. It'll take 20 years to show why.
If you're in for a real-life horror story, you should look up the story of mad cow disease in the UK. In the US, we are experiencing the rapid spread of "chronic wasting disease" among deer populations.
Regulations are why scrapie and mad cow became something we could control.
I slung together a palette based on this scheme. The purples were shifted slightly to try and add contrast.
The heat is on, so are the details

If you want a funny past time, give a LLM a character sheet, then ask it to solve the trolley problem.
Psychos more often than not justify drifting the trolley across both tracks.

We have officially started our codebase migration over to Python 3🐍 🐍 🐍
There’s quite a lot involved in this process, and you've already helped us tremendously in our most recent mass test. If you'd like to know a bit more about what this means and what is involved, even if you're not a technical person, you can read all about in our most recent Python 3 devblog 📖

A principal software engineer at Microsoft tweeted this, by the way.
For the average person, *one* copy of a password book exists in the entire world. This is insecure *in a corporate environment*, but better than reusing Password123! for the average person. Or even a manager.
