NCHC superiority, as it should be. 8 national champions in the last 10 years for the conference. @TheNCHC

FINAL: DU 2 | WIS 1 For the 11th time ever and the 3rd time in 5 years, the Pioneers are national champions. 15 shots on goal sets the record for fewest shots on goal by a champion, beating 26 shots by Denver two years ago.

Incredible hosts. Excited to see Vegas in the regular rotation, as well as further growth to other non-traditional college hockey markets.

Pioneers mastery at its finest. @CollegePucksC2C

Kyle Chyzowski puts the Pioneers on top with a one-timer from the blue line. Boston Buckberger and Garrett Brown with the assists. DU 2 | WIS 1 14:08 P3

Denver is never, ever out of a game. @CollegePucksC2C

Johnny Hicks. That’s it. That’s the tweet. 📸: @ITHSWScott

Denver is simply inevitable. It took to nearly midway through the third period, but Rieger Lorenz cleans up the rebound off Daniel Hauser to tie this championship game up. Garrett Brown and Kristian Epperson with the assists. DU 1 | WIS 1 | 7:31 P3 @CollegePucksC2C

END 2: WIS 1 | DU 0 It's been a very uncharacteristic game for the Pioneers, held to just 5 shots on goal through two periods after entering the game averaging nearly 34 shots per game. Pios are 1-7-1 on the season when trailing after 2, while Wisconsin is 18-2-0 with the lead.

The first period through the camera lens of @ITHSWScott.

END 1: WIS 1 | DU 0 Shots very one-sided at 10-2 in Wisconsin’s favor, Zelenov’s goal was the product of an excellent outlet pass. Can never count the Pioneers out with 40 minutes (or more) to play.

The @BadgerMHockey faithful came to get down and Jump Around! #MFrozenFour #NCAAIceHockey

Bucky opens the scoring first as Vasily Zelenov beats Johnny Hicks high stick side. Assists to Weston Knox and Adam Pietila. WIS 1 | DU 0 | 13:36 P1 @CollegePucksC2C @ITHSWScott @ITHSWPaul @ITHSWPeter @ITHSWSteven @ITHockeySWTwo
