So, in light of the Jacksepticeye stuff… I’ll be frank, it was a joke and a word being said to a game. I don’t really care. But on that note, you also had an issue when your father died with people being just as joking about something deeply personal to you. That’s where the hypocrisy becomes palpable. There are several other examples I could bring up, but I don’t even need them to make this point. If dark or offensive humor is acceptable when you’re the one making the joke, you can’t suddenly act like that kind of humor crosses some sacred line when you’re the one affected by it. this also goes to some talking about this matter. You don’t have to find every joke funny. Nobody does. But standards should remain standards even when the joke hits close to home. This is why public figures really need to learn when to shut the fuck up and just put the fries in the bag.
