It is with deep sadness that I have learned of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. She was the world’s longest serving Head of State and one of the most respected personalities worldwide. I offer my heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family and the British people.

The virtual presentation, “High purity polypropylene from waste carpet: An innovative, alternative recycling approach“ was available to registered attendees during the meeting, held August 17 – 20, and the technology itself attracted a lot of attention and interest from the players in the circular economy.

The collaborative European Commission's ISOPREP Project, is one example of how we are working to help improve the environment. The project has been working on using solvents to selectively solubilise polypropylene so that it can be recycled and reused elsewhere as a virgin quality material.
