8 years ago we were out in Austin to see our immersive online exhibition The Gallery of Lost Art win the SXSW Interactive Award for Art. We faced down some hefty competition from the likes of Disney, Cirque de Soleil and Cindy Sherman @ MoMa.
The exhibition was accessible online for exactly one year, before being destroyed itself! The site attracted over 100,000 visitors from 150+ different countries. This was the Tate's first ever online only exhibition and their third most visited show of the year.
Lost Art was a collaboration between @Tate and @Channel4 with support from the @ahrcpress. We will be sharing more info and snippets from the exhibition over the week. More info here linktr.ee/ISODESIGN
The iconic Manhattan hotel, The Waldorf Astoria, is undergoing a $1 billion renovation and restoration project. We were commissioned to create a film installation for the new hotel visitor centre that tells the story of the hotel as a beacon of 20th Century glamour and luxury.
A gallery-like space has been created with 14 screens arranged like framed photographic images. Once visitors are gathered these animate into life creating a single large wraparound experience.
