Since our collection is in storage for the new Museum, we want to highlight one item each week. This week, we are showing you a poster from the first modern Olympic Games in Athens, Greece 1896.
Today, for Throwback Thursday, is a photo of honorees Stan Tinkham, and Shelly Man, Franklin D. Roosevelt Jr., and Buck Dawson. FDR Jr, is donating a picture of his father to the Hall of Fame and says, "Swimming is a wonderful thing". "It was my father's only way of exercising.”
