🔵 𝑪𝑯𝑨𝑳𝑶𝑩𝑨𝑯 𝑶𝑵 𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑨𝑮𝑶 𝑺𝑰𝑳𝑽𝑨 🇧🇷 Trevoh Chalobah says he remains in regular contact with former Chelsea captain Thiago Silva and still learns from him. 👏 🗣️ “I’m always in contact with him. When he was at Chelsea, I used to study his recovery and how he performed and operated. That’s what I learned from him: the ‘what if’ situation. He always used to say: what if this happens or [that happens]?” Asked if Silva still gives him tips, Chalobah replied: 🗣️ “Yes, definitely. We talk online a lot, on Instagram. Funnily enough, he was at the England-Spain game watching, so that was good.” Chalobah also joked about goalkeeper Robert Sánchez following him from Chelsea to Como on loan: 😂 “He didn’t want to leave me alone!” The defender believes playing abroad is “very important [thing] to get into your CV” and feels Italian football is more tactical than the Premier League. 🇮🇹 “The Premier League is very fast, very physical, but I think [Italy] is a bit more tactical.” And Chalobah has already found time to enjoy life in Como: 🚤 “Funnily enough, I went on a boat, and I drove past [George Clooney’s] house. [Como] is a really nice place and I suggest you should go.” 𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒔𝒆𝒂 𝒇𝒄. 💙

Chelsea sources say he’s been doing rehab work in the Caribbean with a specialist fitness coach. Club-approved, not a holiday. That’s the bit that matters. The work is still happening. Just not at Cobham. Next test is Saturday. Bournemouth at the Bridge. Whether he’s in the squad, or still being managed, is the only question Xabi actually has to answer. Back for the weekend, or one more week? [📰 @BobbyVincentFL] #CFC 🔵 𝒔𝒆𝒑𝒑𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒔𝒆𝒂
