A highly interesting and complex tumor microwave ablation case was successfully performed at HMG – Arrayan Hospital on our Allia IGS 730 system, led by Dr. Naif Alsaikhan @Naif_87 . The procedure involved the percutaneous ablation of a very small liver tumor that was not visible on ultrasound. The lesion was accurately localized using selective hepatic artery angiography with CBCT, demonstrating the value of advanced imaging technologies in addressing challenging clinical scenarios.

I had the privilege of supporting a complex tumor ablation case at HMG – Arryan involving a lesion located in the intercostal region near the gallbladder. The lesion had been particularly challenging to localize, with previous attempts at other centers unsuccessful, as it was not visible on CT or CBCT imaging and could only be clearly identified on MRI. Dr. Naif Alsaikhan @Naif_87 successfully achieved precise lesion localization by leveraging the Integrated Registration Application to fuse MRI and CBCT images, enabling accurate visualization and needle guidance through the Needle ASSIST application. An artificial pneumoperitoneum was also introduced to safely displace the gallbladder away from the ablation zone. In the images, the ablation zone is labeled in red, the pneumoperitoneum in yellow, and the gallbladder in green.

The first Cath Lab in Sharurah City has been officially inaugurated at Sharurah General Hospital, following its formal launch by His Highness Prince Jalawi bin Musaed, with generous support from businessman Mr. Mutlaq Al-Hanaki. The establishment of the Cath Lab department, equipped with Allia IGS 520 system, marks a significant milestone in advancing specialized healthcare services in Sharurah City and the wider Najran region. This initiative will reduce the need for patient travel, limit referrals to tertiary hospitals, and enhance the timely management of critical cardiac emergencies, ultimately improving patient outcomes and saving lives.

A successful SFA CTO stenting case was performed by Dr. @Saq712 using our Allia IGS 740 system at King Khalid Hospital – Najran. During the procedure, Dr. Salem utilized the Bolus Chasing software (InnovaBreeze) both pre- and post-stenting to visualize the complete vascular pathway with a single contrast injection.

A remarkable EVAR case by Dr. @AlmousaOmamah at HMG - Takhasusi using EVAR ASSIST. This innovative tool integrates seamlessly into clinical routines, enabling vascular surgeons to perform standard & complex EVAR procedures with reduced radiation dose and contrast media.

A successful SMA angioplasty was performed by Dr. Ayman Ahmed Al Sayid using our Allia IGS 730 Pulse system at HMG – Jeddah. The case showcased the power of the CT Fusion feature, which overlays pre-operative CT scans onto live fluoroscopy, delivering advanced fusion guidance.

An interesting case was done by Dr. @Alobaid_Abdul, The patient was suspected of having small aneurysm in the RT ICA. To confirm that Dr. Abdullah utilized high-resolution Cerebral Sub CBCT, it was confirmed that the structure was not an aneurysm but rather infundibulum vessel.
