Congratulations to Prof. Deepak Dhar for becoming the second Indian to get the ICTP Dirac Medal 2026. It shows the tremendous research potential India has.
Prof. Dhar was already the first Indian to be awarded the Boltzmann medal, the highest award in Statistical Physics.

"We must also restore value of teaching. Faculty salaries, particularly for researchers and early-career academics, need serious reconsideration. Accreditation bodies must place greater emphasis on fair compensation and humane working conditions for all scholars," @IRWatchdog
How to choose a college? It is important that people dont make decisions blindly following flawed and gamed rankings. Please share this video with as many prospective students and parents to improve their awareness.
Great to see this issue getting the attention.

Introducing Author Trends, the first website of its kind which gives sensible normalised metrics, research integrity signals and host of other information about researchers. Still in beta, do take it for a spin: authortrends.com
Few possibilities:
- Journal 'On Hold'. That is why Scopus not adding them
- Scopus slow to update (Unlikely)
- Inaccuracies in OpenAlex (Possible)

Journal Trends is an amazing tool to see publishing trends and patterns of a journal. All you need is an ISSN.
Hats off to @IRWatchdog for developing this incredible open source tool for research integrity. I believe it will come in very handy to identify paper mills. ;)
300 papers at 600 USD each. Researchers could have saved 1.8 crore rupees just in this journal if they had checked journaltrends.netlify.app
Note : We made this tool
Prestigious journal Nature's been a measure of quality for a very long time. Despite huge lack of resources, India was a healthy contributor to the journal post independence. Since 90s, we have stopped contributing much. This is highly worrying.

We have created a tool Journal Trends (link: journaltrends.netlify.app) to help visualize country wise, institute wise and author wise trends for any journal. It can help researchers stay away from predatory journals and choose more wisely.
