When trying to fall asleep, I sometimes repeat privacy acronyms rather than count sheep... CCPA, CPRA, CDPA, GLBA, CalOPPA, COPPA, FERPA, DPA, DPIA, GDPR, LGPD... needless to say, this generally doesn't end well.

It wasn't that long ago that calling a trademark examiner resulted in: 1) a call back, and 2) a genuinely pleasant interaction. I remember one examiner and I cracking up call after call as we chatted about my clients marks. How I long for the days...
