1/ Today HM Inspectorate of Prosecution publishes our findings on how well @COPFS responds to enquiries received by National Enquiry Point, its customer contact centre. Visit our website to find out more at prosecutioninspectorate.scot
3/COPFS needs to review demand & set out the level of service it wants to provide to those making enquiries, many of whom are victims & witnesses. Enquiry Point needs appropriate staffing & better support from across the organisation. All staff need the tools to do their job well
4/ Thanks to all those who contributed to this work! Your feedback about the service helped shape our findings and recommendations.
Next up: can we improve how we cite witnesses to court? Stay tuned for more info on our next inspection, to be done jointly with @HMICS
