Three generations of Pender's continuing a centuries old tradition of supplying fresh fish and shellfish to the Isles of Scilly.

Joined March 2015
Their Royal Highnesses visit Island Fish, who catch and sell locally caught lobster, crab, wet fish and shellfish to the Scilly Isles. 🎣🦀 In 2018, the business was supported by the Duchy to build their new specially designed premises on Bryher.

Memories of a Lobster takeaway eaten on the beach at #Bryher have got me through some tough times. Perfect then that my best friends recreated this in a blustery @LoveFowey garden last night. #ThankYou to them and to the amazing @IOSfish who sent the #Lobsters over. #Nearly60

Paella supper @IOSfish followed by a walk along the beach, with a rather lovely brownie in my rucksack for later. Bryher is the most wonderful place ever. #Scilly #cantgetenough

Gig training 1980s style presented by Chris Searle. Filmed in Scilly during 1989 and featuring people and places all over the islands. This months movie is a little glitchy due to a dodgy VHS cassette, but still well worth a watch! youtube.com/watch?v=bZ3FdklL…

On a stormy day, where better to snuggle than in the bar @HellBayHotel on the island of Bryher? Lunched on 🌮 from local lobster. The lobster is caught by the Pender family islandfish - so… instagram.com/p/BoEVndwnP-g/…

I'm writing an article about smallholders who have a smallholding by the sea - do you or anyone you know fit the bill? Would love to hear from you! (I might also like to BE you, but that's another matter).
