THE US MILITARY HAS A WEAPON CALLED HAMMER OF THE GODS, IT TURNS OFF ALL GPS. QUANTUM IS THE SOLUTION. In July the Army, Navy and Space Force took a system called Hammer of the Gods to sea off Southern California for the first time. It’s a low-signature emitter that denies GPS and other positioning signals across an area. Land versions have been running in exercises for two years. This was the first time they launched it, ran it and recovered it from a ship. Why the Pentagon builds a weapon that kills the thing its own forces run on, is to practice fighting without it. Space Forces Pacific’s Lt. Col. Darrin Hall put it plainly, PNT is “the foundation of modern military operations.” Take it away and the precision of long range artillery, guided missiles and cruise munitions falls apart. The US is saying out loud that the weapon which breaks precision warfare is a box that jams a satellite signal. China and Russia have the same box. Russia uses theirs over Ukraine and the Baltic every day. So the race isn’t who can turn GPS off, It’s who can keep navigating when it’s gone and that’s quantum sensing. Atomic clocks that hold time without a satellite. Magnetometers that read Earth’s crust like a map. Accelerometers that track motion with cold atoms instead of drifting gyros. The receipts are stacking up. The Air Force has flown it on a C-17. Q-CTRL published 50x better accuracy than military inertial systems with GPS off. Infleqtion’s clocks are already fielded.
