In a new opinion piece for the Ottawa Citizen, IOG President and CEO Allen Sutherland examines the challenge Prime Minister Mark Carney is posing to the federal public service.
From increasing the speed of government and cutting “beige tape” to strengthening analytical rigour and confronting risk aversion, Allen argues that the public service is being pushed to transform how it works and reinforce its role as a trusted source of advice to government.
