A great example of what @MindandBody_KHP care means. @ConsultantConn allows mental health clinicians to contact colleagues in acute hospitals for advice on the physical health of people with serious mental illnesses. Looks at the results 👏 nearly 70% of cases avoid referrals.
"In 69% of cases the conversation with a specialist meant @MaudsleyNHS clinicians could treat their patient’s physical health condition without the need for a hospital referral or admission."
