The future of dementia science is bright 💡 thanks to dedicated researchers from around the world, including Argentine neuropsychologist @LuCrivelliOk.
“Funding from the Alzheimer's Association has been very important in my career, but it has also been very important for my region. The Association is funding LatAm-FINGERS — this trial is taking place in 12 countries across Latin America to study risk reduction and dementia prevention in the region.
I am very excited about dementia prevention and risk reduction, primarily in low to middle income countries, because I know we can make a difference there. I am hopeful about the new treatments that are studying to surge. I'm also hopeful about changing people’s lifestyles to prevent diseases that don't have to take place.”
