Jesse Eisenberg says he feels "lucky" his 'Zombieland' co-star Emma Stone has used her position in Hollywood to produce all three of his films.
"She’s a very glamorous Hollywood actress, but at heart she’s a comedy nerd. [...] We’re contemporaries, but she got really, really powerful. Now she can do this kind of stuff and I’m the beneficiary."

It’s not Clockwork’s version, it’s my dad’s. He was constantly bitching about the butchering for some 40 years. This is the version of the film he always wanted.
Agreed. Agreed,The "Clockwork" version is not superior or an "improvement." @ReelTommyB

I've just made a 16 hour history of documentary cinema. I think #NAZA is one of the best I've ever seen.

That time the most obvious fraud ever tried to sue Matt Reeves for Batman script plagiarism with the weakest comparisons, and the *only* people who believed and supported him were Snyder stans.
They're a magic beans salesman's delight.

There has never been another Derek Jarman, and there will never be another Derek Jarman.

the reason films adapted from books change things from the source material is because not everything that works in prose works in cinema and vice versa. and filmmakers know this, which is why they change things when adapting

Immensely funny that we've gone from Spaghetti Westerns being looked down on by some film critics to being cited as art house films that are inaccessible by people on twitter. they've come so far
Zolly Becker is notoriously insane (he has accused various filmmakers of physically murdering another filmmaker’s child simply because he doesn’t like them), and has been banned from Twitter more than once as a result.
Matt Reeves' son is dying (first reported by @ZollyBBecker on @WatchThis_Movie) so they took his movie away from him and gave it to one of the worst directors working today

As the resident NC-17 expert who had seen an unhealthy amount of them: The Devils is top tier. Even amongst its most illustrious peers (Santa Sangre, Crash, The Canterbury Tales, Arabian Nights) it reigns supreme.
Do yourself a favor and see it in theaters.

It’s grim and telling that every Batman conspiracy nut seems to be a Snydercult/BvS stan who wants what happened to Snyder to happen to Reeves. Their toy got ruined, so now they want someone else’s ruined too.
It’s all very desperate, Nick Shirley, MAGA-coded nonsense.
Key distinction: in 2017, those statements came exclusively from the studio (and the people in charge at the time have since been removed). This time, Reeves himself has spoken out on the matter. He also has a better relationship with the studio than Snyder did in 2017.

I’ve seen a lot of takes tonight of people upset that DC didn’t get David Fincher to take over filming #TheBatmanPart2 in Matt Reeves absence.
My question to that is… Have none of you heard what Fincher is like to work with? Lol. He’s literally KNOWN for having to have everything done to his specific vision and making actors do crazy amounts of takes to get the shot perfectly how HE imagined it… Why in the world would that be who you want to take over a project that is 2/3rds someone else’s vision?
That’s the entire reason they chose Soderbergh. He offered to make this FOR Matt Reeves, exactly how Reeves wants it to be done.
