This semester, IMALIVE visited 3 out of 4 Eastwick College campuses in New Jersey! We met so many hard-working students who juggle caring for their family members, working 2-3 jobs, and taking classes.
Thank you to our hosts @BerkeleyCollege for inviting us to be part of the Berkeley College Mental Health & Wellness fair! 🌟THIRTY🌟 vendors and college departments joined forces to bring the best information to students and the local community!

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported themselves and others at the IMALIVE Mental Health Fair in honor of World Mental Health Day.
A powerful message of suicide prevention, mental health awareness, and care for students marked the start of the Fall semester at Anne Arundel Community College in Maryland. 📷 137 students participated in 7 activities and completed an exit survey.
Dozens more participated in at least one activity and connected with a local community resource. Nine different community partners joined the event hosted by AACC Counseling Services and AACC Health and Wellness Center.
IMALIVE Mental Health Fair, held at Stockton University's two campuses, was one of the factors cited in the university's application for the 2025 Excellence in Mental Health and Well-Being Award from Insight Into Academia magazine.
Stockton was one of 70 institutions recognized nationwide. The award is a measure of an institution’s individual programs and initiatives that significantly advance the core values of inclusive excellence and belonging. breakingac.com/news/2025/aug…
The list of winners also includes New Jersey Institute of Technology and Hudson County Community College, which host the fair every year. insightintoacademia.com/2025… @stocktonuniversity @stocktonucaps @njit @hcccmentalhealthcounseling @hcccofficial @insightintoacademia
Connection with others provides a safety net for life’s challenges. When students share experiences with others, whether they know each other or are meeting for the first time, it helps them process their emotions and feel understood. Here's some feedback from fair participants.
Transformation often happens when we least expect it. But within that struggle lies the potential for profound change. Trust the process, even when we can’t see the outcome.

Your mind is like a garden; you have the freedom to remove what no longer serves you and nurture new growth whenever you choose.

Growth is often messy, unpredictable, and even painful. The "wild winds of change" symbolize uncertainty and challenge, but they are also what pushes us to evolve. Embracing discomfort as part of the process can lead to deeper resilience.
