The rain had followed them all the way up the toll road, and by the time they reached the next gate, it had stopped pouring. With that, a sigh of relief escaped Damara’s lips. Driving under the rain was never her favorite.

The flat-toned female voice from the online maps application directed them toward a narrower path, just several kilometers from the next rented housings. Theirs, seemingly, located near the hills where the scenery was more … appealing.
“I think it’s just several meters ahead,” she murmured. And when they got into the clearing, several cars parked, the lodging house came into view, Damara sighed in relief. “Alright. We’re here. Pack up. It’s the vacation we’ve been dreaming about.”
