The first night I met my husband, he asked me if I liked the opera. When I said yes, he asked me if I’d be interested in going with him sometime. One of the classiest first dates ever. It actually ended up being our third date (we had a dinner and a hike before), but he was intentional and clear about getting to know me from the beginning. Now, a man can be intentional and clear about dating without splurging on an opera or expensive date. It can be a coffee, a walk, or a lunch. But they key is CLARITY. From the beginning, I knew we weren’t just hanging out. He was serious about getting to know me. And he was serious about life in general - working hard, planning for the future, living his faith, treating me, his family and others with respect. We both understood that dating has a purpose - it can be fun, yes, but it’s also about discovering if a person if someone we can marry and whether can fall in love with them. Dating is not for hooking up, just passing time, or “hanging out.” The kind of person you are trying to be is the kind of person you will attract. Keep high standards, for yourself and for the kind of person you want to date. And be intentional about who and why you date. ❤️

It is still federally legal to kill a child in the womb for all nine months for any reason. Even with Roe gone, we have the most extreme abortion laws in the world, like China & North Korea. Our work is cut out for us: we must secure complete legal protection for all children.
