Now that he's recovered from cancer, our instructor Shaun (@goforadv) is going to try and complete a trip of a lifetime...a 25000km road trip around Canada! He needs help though so please help fuel the dream & buy him some gas! bit.ly/3ss64p6

We had a great day today working with another group from Electrical Safety Authority. More companies & government agencies realize that meeting Occupational Health and Safety means providing better driver training for their employees. #moredriven @goodyear @OnliaCA

May is Motorcycle Awareness Month. As the weather continues to warm, their numbers are increasing. Please keep an eye out for them. They may be someone you know. #awareness #motorcycle #motorcycles #moto #motorcyclelife #road #roadsafety #safety
Make sure your full lighting system is on while driving in less than ideal conditions.

Contrary to popular belief, the human brain can't multitask. Thanks to @TorontoPolice for this gem.
Holding the wheel with one hand at the 12 o'clock position can lead to some nasty injuries. Hold it at 9 & 3. #roadsafety #safedriving #roadawareness #injury #ouch #ouchie

It's been a tough season up in Minden, but we all had fun and as usual the students all had a great time.
How long before this is cleared?? Spring thaw? Or will just fall off causing a hazard to other drivers? There's no excuse for this. Clear your vehicle. . . . . @TrafficServices #snow #winter #ice #roadsafety #safedriving #fail

Bulky boots are a bad idea! Wear a shoe with at thinner sole and that's tighter around your toe box. This will avoid "unintended acceleration" issues. Cops hate it when then hear "My car just took off!" or "My brakes didn't work".

When the roads are slippery...slow down! Or maybe just stay home where it's cozy and warm.

Bad weather & bad visibility...bad crashes

Take off those gloves or mittens. They seriously reduce your ability to control your vehicle. #RoadSafety #safedriving #roadawareness #gloves #mittens

Take off those bulky winter clothes before driving. They reduce control, restrict your range of movement, cause over-heating, reduce visibility, and prevent your seat-belt from fitting properly. . @trafficservicestoronto #winter #snow #ice #winterishere #roadsafety #safedriving
