ILC Critical Minerals has changed its financial reporting to semi-annual, following this now being allowed under Canadian rules. It works well for companies on the LSE and ASX, so it should work well for us too !
Price of SC6 spodumene concentrate is again over USD 2,500 per tonne. This is excellent news for our Raleigh Lake project.
Big landmark this week that the spot price of SC6 spodumene has gone above the US$2,350 price assumption in ILC’s PEA for Raleigh Lake. Back above the NPV of C$342.9m. ILC has no debt. Market Cap is under 2% of the NPV of our biggest project. Not intended as investment advice.
Iran/Hormuz threats to oil supply are boosting electric car sales. Dealerships for Chinese EV maker BYD in the Philippines logged a full month’s orders in two weeks. Thailand, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia saw 20 % or higher sales increases, with inventory shortages emerging.
On 2026-01-09 ILC published an update on the economics of the Raleigh Lake project in Ontario. Post-tax NPV of CAD$215 million and a Post-tax IRR of 32.7% p.a. based on current spodumene prices, and based on lithium resource only and not yet the rubidium resource. Following the significant rise in lithium prices over the past 6+ months after sharp falls in 2024 and 2025H1, ILC gave this update drawing on the sensitivity analysis in the Technical Report of 2024-01-18. At the market price on 2026-01-08 of US$ 1,800 per tonne (CAD$2,498.40), this gives a Post-tax NPV of CAD$215 million and a Post-tax IRR of 32.7% p.a.

On 2024-01-18 ILC published the Technical Report for its first PEA at Raleigh Lake, Ontario. NPV C$342.9m, IRR 44.3% p.a. based on a 6% spodumene concentrate price of USD 2,350 per tonne. This is only for lithium at this point in Zone 1 of the much larger project area, and not yet for rubidium. But very good result.

Big landmark for ILC. Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate published for Raleigh Lake. Work so far is on 1,000 hectares out of 48,500 hectares there, but credible numbers. Separate resource declared for lithium and rubidium, both on US critical metals list. newsfilecorp.com/release/156…
