I designed @Boity’s cover for 018 Remix & was heavily influenced by the fact that I’m a 018 90s baby from the BOP era. The red colour usage & Old English fonts was to create territory like gang culture symbolism with plain Arial text because 90s maps couldn’t get any better haha. – at Johannesburg, South Africa
Designed @LamiezHolworthy’s cover for Sthokoze. I managed to give meaning such as praising ancestors & using sangoma elements to represent “Go Thokoza boGogo.” The Khoisan iconography represented women & sacrifices with a San Serif font to represent our new school spirituality.
