I feel at KW5.eu, our goal is to create something meaningful and long-term for the EU 2K scene. But at times, that gets overlooked by people looking for quick fixes, quick pots and short-term opportunities, rather than seeing the bigger picture. We are working with some big hitters from the US, and I agree with what you're saying. But the reality is that the European scene is many years behind the US. To catch up, we need the community to understand that we are still a smaller percentage of the overall competitive 2K scene worldwide. We need to stick together, put our personal egos aside and genuinely become part of the generation that takes 2K in Europe to the next level. From the position we are in, and from the conversations and meetings I've had, one thing I can say is that it is possible. But it takes 110% support from everyone. Of course, the game itself, 2K and the people behind it could support the community more. Things like the World Cup, proper spectator modes and building the game with the competitive scene in mind would make a huge difference. But I believe if we keep pushing things in the right direction, it only takes one big break for them to realise that the European scene is something that shouldn't be overlooked. I also can't blame organisations for where things currently are. The scene isn't profitable enough yet. But that also comes down to the professionalism and commitment shown by many within it. Respectfully to everyone, we spend a huge amount of our time chasing players, teams and organisations to uphold their responsibilities. We deal with account sharing, cheating, people not following simple rules and constantly having to use our time fixing problems that shouldn't exist. That time could instead be spent building bigger and better opportunities for everyone. If we can't follow the basic rules and take this seriously, why should we expect to be given the opportunity to build something greater? The potential is there. But getting EU 2K to the next level isn't going to happen through one person, one organisation or one tournament. It happens when the community decides to build it together.
