@SEL_News has announced plans to expand its manufacturing operations at its West Lafayette location. The $25 million project will allow it to complete more manufacturing processes and will create about 130 jobs at the location.

MUSIC TO OUR EARS! Fort Wayne-based music and audio equipment retailer @SweetwaterSound held a topping out ceremony for its distribution center expansion Tuesday. The $36.7 million project will add nearly 170,000 square feet of warehouse space, bringing the total size of the facility to around 14 acres.

Redwire's newly opened facility in Georgetown, Indiana is advancing space research and manufacturing. 🛰️
@IIB recently toured the facility with Rich Boling, Senior Vice President of Redwire Space, to see how that work comes together. From the new Payload Operations Control Center, the Redwire team supports hardware aboard the International Space Station, including PIL-BOX platforms for pharmaceutical research and systems for bioprinting in microgravity.

Our Vanessa Green Sinders and Monica Kozlowski joined Governor Braun, Indiana's congressional delegation and others yesterday in Indianapolis for a ribbon-cutting celebrating Rolls-Royce's $1 billion investment in its Indiana manufacturing, assembly and test facilities.
The company is celebrating the completion of a decade-long investment into its Indiana operations — an investment the aircraft engine-maker said puts it in a strong position to fulfill existing military contracts and compete for new work in the future.

Our member Caterpillar Inc. is looking to make another major investment in its Large Engine Center in Lafayette, according to documents filed this month with the Lafayette Redevelopment Commission.
The company plans to invest $890 million to modernize operations and add new manufacturing equipment at the plant, which employs just under 2,000 people.
