Whether you agree with the ruling or not, one thing has become very clear over the past few decades and much more so the past 6 months: one branch of government is quickly accumulating power and the other two are forfeiting their own.

Trump: Those Penn state guys, I wanted them to wrestle the migrants. I told the Dana White. I told him to set up his league of champions and a migrant league. I want the migrant to go against the champion. I think migrant might win. That’s how nasty some are

Immigration fears fire up Trump voters in storm-racked North Carolina…where damaged homes, roads, etc. will almost certainly get rebuilt by a hugely immigrant-dependent construction workforce.

“It’s only in the context of partisan politics where someone as smart as @benshapiro / @megynkelly would take a risk like this…They would never send their kid to a school run by Trump over a school run by a median woke liberal.”

Obama’s famous speech (lifted from Deval Patrick, I think) was correct. “Don’t tell me words don’t matter!” He said.
Obama’s point was that his lofty rhetoric mattered—because a leader uses words to change things.
IMHO, his premise is more relevant than ever. Donald Trump’s supporters want you to believe that his words don’t matter.
But they do!
I believe that words matter a LOT.
As the Bible says,
“…a small rudder makes a huge ship turn wherever the pilot chooses to go, even though the winds are strong. In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire.”
Don’t tell me Trump’s words don’t matter.

While MAGA world continues to feign outrage over Biden's "garbage" comments, Trump is out here trashing "every" American city, saying they're "dirty" and "they smell."

Trump: Every city, you take a look at it. It is falling apart. They smell. They are dirty.

I don't know how it could be clearer. RFK Jr. is gonna get a major health post and is going to push to get vaccines "yanked" (Lutnick's words) from the market. He's sold them on this and they've bought in.

Despite the thirsty click-bait headlines from Politico and others, the Speaker of the House saying he and Trump will repeal the Affordable Care Act is 1000x more politically consequential than whatever Biden said.

5 thoughts on the Biden thing:
1. I don’t think he called Trump supporters “garbage.” I think he meant to call that Trump supporting comedian & some of the other ugly stuff that was said at MSG “garbage.”
2. Biden can’t communicate coherently. At all. So he shouldn’t be speaking. At all.
3. Kamala Harris has been nothing but gracious toward Trump supporters. She wants to be President for ALL Americans. She’s done nothing but preach unity, ending the hate, being respectful, and finding common ground between the two sides.
4. Trump is the greatest purveyor of hate in American politics today. Every single word out of his mouth is hate, fear, & division. Been that way for years.
5. So Trump supporters, quit whining about Biden. You’ve eagerly embraced the guy who said his political opponents are evil, who said they’re the “enemy within,” who just today said they’re “horrible people,” and who said he’ll use the military to go after his political opponents. Respectfully MAGA, get lost with your crocodile tears.

"Horrible people" aside (you know who you are), this whole "nation in decline" thing is just bizarre. It wasn't true during his term (or Clinton's or W's or Obama's), and it's not true now.

Trump: "These are horrible people. Oops. We should get along with everybody. They’re horrible people! Some people you just can't get along with. You can't... You know, we're a failing nation. We’re a nation in decline."
