🚨 SAD NEWS: Kyle Kennedy, granddaughter of Robert F. Kennedy and niece of HHS Secretary RFK Jr., has passed away at just 42.
She died at her home in Westwood, Massachusetts, according to her obituary. She was a mother of three.
In 2020, Kyle suffered a severe spinal cord injury that left her permanently paralyzed. Her family wrote that through it all, "Kyle fought to maintain her dry wit and determination through it all, trying to be the best possible mother."
That's a fighter. That's a mom.
My deepest condolences to Secretary Kennedy, to her three children and to the entire Kennedy and Gifford families. May she rest in peace. 🙏

As soon as I heard him use the word ‘relatable’, I knew this was for PR and to make money. The funniest part is when he said he tells people to ‘let go of the past’. My mom passed 2 years ago. She lived in her house that my parents had built since 1960. When she died we had 3 roll offs to throw stuff out.😬 She threw nothing away...ever. We had one room we kind of threw stuff in to decide later what to do with. Went through a lot of it yesterday.
I found all her hand written checkbook registers from 1960 on. 😳
Baby cards she got from friends & neighbors (my older brother turns 61 this year) and my third birthday card he gave me where he printed his name like a 4 year old because he was a 4 year old. 😂 Birthday cards & thank you notes from both her children, her grandchildren, her parents who didn't speak english- Baba and Ced, her sister & pictures that were drawn, colored & painted from her grandchildren & on & on.
I felt so guilty throwing all this stuff away. She saved so much it was kind of nuts. But I did enjoy looking through it all. Really stirred up memories.
Makes a person ponder one's own mortality. 🤔
Here's Mom's wedding portrait. My daughter is kind of artsy & plans to do something with it & make it the centerpiece of a wall of pictures.
Even if it takes 2 years...or more. 😄
