Oklahoma City is proud to be the home of the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame (at the Science Museum Oklahoma). Being the home of the Hall of Fame also means we have hosted the induction ceremony for three decades. This week brought another stellar class, and we were joined in OKC by new Hall of Famers Cristina Bontas of Romania, Yuri Chechi of Italy and Vanessa Ferrari of Italy. None of this is possible without Nadia Comaneci and Bart Conner, our favorite local Olympic legends. By the way, this year is the 50th anniversary of Nadia’s Perfect 10, the 40th anniversary of Bart’s arrival in Oklahoma, and their 30th wedding anniversary. We are so grateful for them and their passion for our community.
