Cardano Academy is off to college.
This fall, the Cardano Foundation is joining the University of Nicosia's (@UNIC_ENG) Blockchain and Digital Assets course.
We'll be teaching Cardano fundamentals and also sponsoring 25 Advanced Track places.

UNIC's Free MOOC on Blockchain and Digital Assets, the first university course of its kind, starts today. Weeks 1–8 are free, with 1,000 hardware wallets available for students.
The Advanced Track (Weeks 9–12, €199) offers five 50% Ripple scholarships towards our MSc in Blockchain and Digital Currency, plus guest sessions with Ripple, Cardano, Trezor and Avalanche.

🎉 The draw for the @Ledger device allocation in the @Uni_of_Nicosia's Mastering Web3 MOOC is complete!
To ensure transparency:
🔹 Each participant received an anonymized draw ID
🔹 The eligible list was committed in advance
🔹 Bitcoin block #950,909 was used as the random seed
Each ID was ranked using a cryptographic hash:
✅ 17 students were selected
📋 A reserve list was also generated for any unclaimed devices
Because the draw relied on a publicly verifiable Bitcoin block, any participant can independently reproduce & verify the results.
Our collaboration with @Ledger demonstrates how transparency and verifiability can be applied in education. 🔐
