Ray-Ban Meta glasses are designed to look like ordinary eyewear, so you'd never know you're being filmed. When our client complained, Meta said it didn't violate community standards. We've sent legal notices to the creator and to Meta. Covert surveillance isn't a design flaw, it's the product.

A man was covertly recorded at a café in Khan Market through camera-equipped Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses while being harassed by a stranger. The footage was uploaded to Instagram, where it crossed 4.19 lakh views and attracted hundreds of mocking comments. IFF has provided pro bono legal assistance to him and issued a legal notice to the creator and Meta Platforms. (1/7)

NIXI has now given a third explanation for suspending chalosansad.in. First it was “Invalid WHOIS”. Then a “critical keyword”. Now, three weeks into the suspension, it says “Sansad” is a reserved term for Constitutional Authorities. But NIXI’s own reserved names list does not reserve “sansad” as a term, and chalosansad.in is not on it. (1/8)
