Have you heard about The Right to Grow Campaign? @RTGCampaign
A community right to grow is a grassroots campaign to grow food on public land.
“Let’s find unloved bits of land, roll our sleeves up & grow food on them”
It is our vision for a healthier greener future. 🌍

The most #sustainable compost is #homemade.
Compost heaps create fantastic #free compost & provide additional habitats for #nature.
Every #garden & #restaurant should have a #compost heap - don't miss out on this free but #valuable resource!

What happens if you submerge a dandelion in water?
#Dandelions are pretty amazing. Did you know that you can #eat or #drink every part of the #dandelion - the #flower, #leaves, and #root!

This Sunday (1.30-4pm) our volunteers are learning the art of ‘grafting’ new apple trees. We’ll keep safe the old genes of our orchard and plant new trees afresh in hope for the future - all under the instruction of the most wonderful @S_Hockenhull

Normally this time of year is filled with #hope and joy at the emergence of #spring. The news of the awful #war in #Ukraine and the suffering is making it hard for many to comfortably & freely feel happiness or joy right now. @DannyE_Stories wrote this #poem to help process this.
