‼️🎥Footage released by the IDF includes an interrogation of a Hamas terrorist who admits to working at Kamal Adwan Hospital while being involved in terrorist activity.
Hamas and Islamic Jihad have used the hospital and its surrounding area to carry out attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. Hamas continues to exploit the medical facility for terrorist activity, putting patients and medical staff at risk while using civilians as human shields, in violation of international law.

‼️IDF troops operated for 48 hours in a large-scale counterterrorism operation in the Qalandiya Camp and Kafr ‘Aqab.
During the operation, wanted suspects were apprehended, dozens of suspects were questioned, and hundreds of locations were searched. Weapons, including handguns, explosive devices, and ammunition, were located and confiscated.

According to a UN report, on Saturday (11 July), Hamas terrorists forcibly entered a food distribution site operated by the World Food Programme (WFP) in the Jabalia area, forcing the suspension of food distributions that had been providing daily assistance to thousands of families. According to the report, the terrorists also seized a WFP food warehouse and violently assaulted two truck drivers transporting humanitarian supplies.
COGAT strongly condemns this serious incident. As stated by Dr. Ramiz Alakbarov, the UN Humanitarian Coordinator, this was not an isolated incident but part of a recurring pattern of intimidation, violence, and disruption of humanitarian operations in the Gaza Strip. This constitutes further clear evidence that Hamas cynically exploits the humanitarian space and the aid intended for the residents of the Gaza Strip for its own purposes.
The facts are clear: humanitarian aid is entering the Gaza Strip. Hamas is the party undermining the distribution mechanisms, seizing humanitarian aid, and preventing it from reaching the civilian population.

Ali Shaib was officially recruited as a member of Hezbollah’s military wing in 2020, but in practice had been cooperating with the terrorist organization since 2013. His role in the intelligence unit was to film intelligence information and transfer it to the Radwan Force, all under the guise of a journalist.
Shaib’s activities in exposing the locations of IDF troops to Hezbollah posed a tangible threat to the lives of IDF troops in southern Lebanon.

Since Hezbollah decided to support the Iranian regime and attack Israel on March 2nd, they have fired ~700 rockets, missiles and UAVs toward Israel from areas south of the Litani River.
Those same areas south of the Litani were supposed to be cleared of Hezbollah’s terror by the Lebanese army, yet they failed to do so. We have no choice but to operate against the threat Hezbollah poses to our civilians.

📢 Rafah Crossing – Operations Update
In accordance with the agreement and Israel’s commitments, operations at the Rafah Crossing are ongoing.
Over the past week, approx. 100 patients and escorts exited through the Rafah Crossing, and approx. 100 Gazans entered Gaza.
Yesterday, on 8 February, an additional ~50 people exited through the crossing, and 50 people entered Gaza.
Gazans passing through the Rafah crossing are contingent upon the submission of approved passenger lists by the Egyptian authorities and the World Health Organization (@WHO) and the crossing's capacity.
Israel will continue working closely with its partners to facilitate the entry and exit of Gazans through the Rafah Crossing, in line with the agreed framework.

📢UPDATE:
In accordance with the ceasefire agreement and the directive of the political echelon, the Rafah Crossing will open this coming Sunday (February 1st) in both directions, for limited movement of people only.
Exit from and entry into the Gaza Strip via the Rafah Crossing will be permitted in coordination with Egypt, following prior security clearance of individuals by Israel, and under the supervision of the European Union mission, similar to the mechanism implemented in January 2025.
The return of residents from Egypt to the Gaza Strip will be permitted, in coordination with Egypt, for residents who left Gaza during the course of the war only, and only after prior security clearance by Israel. In addition to initial identification and screening at the Rafah Crossing by the European Union mission, an additional screening and identification process will be conducted at a designated corridor, operated by the defense establishment in an area under @IDF control.
