59 years ago we witnessed one of the bleakest days in our history.
We will never forget those who lost their lives in the Aberfan disaster, most of them children.
The strength shown by the community who faced the unimaginable continues to be a shining example to us all.

On 21st of October 1966, 116 children and 28 adults were killed in the horrific Aberfan disaster, caused by the failure of the National Coal Board.
Today, we remember those who lost their lives and stand with the community of Aberfan now and always.
Never again.

Michael Madsen RIP.
One of the great gangster actors has sadly left the stage. He will always be remembered for playing the sadistic Mr Blonde in Reservoir Dogs and in particular, his torture dance scene soundtracked with ‘Stuck in the Middle With You”.
