Congrats to Islington Collegiate Sixth Form (ICS) for securing an Alps 1 (top 1% in the country for progress). Modelled on the NCS; the same curriculum, common assessments, dress code standards, expectations and enrichment opportunities. Another @COLA_Trust Sixth Forms delivering exceptional outcomes and progress for pupils in some of London’s most disadvantaged areas.
For the second year running, @ncs6th is ranked 2nd in the country for A-Level results in The Times School League Tables: Parent Power 2025. The NCS educates students from Newham, the second most deprived borough in London and secures record Oxbridge, Medicine/Dentistry places and Ivy League offers on full scholarships worth over £250,000.
@COLA_Trust is committed to supporting pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds. To address the growing needs of pupils and the wider community, we have established two additional highly academic institutions: Hackney Collegiate Sixth Form (HCS) and Islington Collegiate Sixth Form (ICS). Both are modelled on the NCS and offer the same high quality curriculum, teaching, and enrichment.
ICS attended the A Level Mindset Day with City of London school where Year 12s received guidance on effective revision strategies. These techniques will enhance their academic performance inside and outside of the classroom #ICSBegins #COLAT #PersonalDevelopment #StudySkills
Oxford Residential 2024
Year 12 at ICS began with our annual Oxford Residential - they attended taster lectures by PhD students as well as a masterclass on how to be super-curricular and make a competitive application to Oxbridge
