The ICRC delivered 10 tonnes of vital medical supplies to Ataq General Hospital, including two weapon-wounded kits to strengthen the hospital’s capacity to provide emergency trauma and surgical care to those in urgent need, following the recent mass-casualty incident in #Shabwah.
سلّمت اللجنة الدولية 10 أطنان من الإمدادات الطبية إلى مستشفى عتق العام، تضمنت مستلزمات إسعاف وعلاج جرحى الأسلحة، لتعزيز قدرة المستشفى على تقديم الرعاية الطبية الطارئة للحالات الحرجة ولمن هم في أمسّ الحاجة إليها، وذلك عقب سقوط أعداد كبيرة من الضحايا في محافظة #شبوة.
The surge in weapon-wounded patients is putting immense pressure on health facilities on front lines. Our teams visited Ras al Arah hospital in #Lahj to assess the needs and provide emergency medical supplies. Azabou, our medical staff, shares his impressions following the visit.

The recent escalation of hostilities in #Yemen has left countless families in anguish. Since July 2026, the ICRC has received over 1,800 tracing requests from families looking for missing loved ones.
Families have the right to know the fate and whereabout of their loved ones.
